Vinescapes supports our community by leading research projects, actively contributing to committees, events, conferences and fostering technical expertise across the sector.
We are active contributors to Wine Great Britain (WineGB) through the WineGB’s Sustainability Technical Committee, working on collaborative research projects and contributing to the wine growing community with our sustainability and viticulture expertise.
As a Silver Patron of WineGB, we support WineGB’s focus on improving the skills and professional development of the industry. We provide technical advice and attend industry conferences and training events on behalf of WineGB, and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.
Dr Alistair Nesbitt is a founding Trustee of The Regenerative Viticulture Foundation.
The foundation raises awareness about the benefits of regenerative viticulture and seeks to educate winegrowers about how they can implement regenerative practices.
The work of the foundation stretches to the many winegrowing regions around the world, helping to prepare the industry for a changing climate.
Vinescapes began a Graduate Program in 2023 and our first graduate, Sarah Stott advanced to become a permanent employee of Vinescapes at the end of 2024.
The Vinescapes Graduate Program supports a university scholar to kickstart their career in viticulture or winemaking with a two-year on-the-job traineeship.
If you’d like to find out more about the program, please get in touch.
