Our Vineyard suitability Mapping Assessment Platform (VineMAP) is a state-of-the-art objective suitability assessment tool for viticulture in England. Through VineMAP both land and climatic suitability for vinegrowing can be assessed at ultra-high resolution (field scale) within minutes and reports generated to inform investment and vine management decisions. The suitability model employed in VineMAP is backed by scientific research to support the critical decision making process regarding where best to plant vineyards.
