Training
Our workshops help vineyard owners, managers and operatives to achieve better crop yields, fruit quality, vine health and profitability, by increasing their knowledge and developing practical skills. Common problems faced by many vineyards are yield variability, disease pressures, declining vine health and productivity – which impacts the viability of the business.
Our highly experienced team of viticulturists share their knowledge, skills and tips across all vineyard operations - resulting in improved yields, quality and vine and soil health. Our practical skills one-day workshops are held seasonally, across the regions. Group size is limited, and the workshops combine theory with practical, so they are a great way to improve skills in a relaxed atmosphere. We provide training and mentoring from beginners through to experienced viticulture and oenology professionals: Beginners: For those keen to understand the basics in vinegrowing, winemaking and the English wine sector and acquire new practical skills . Intermediates: For those looking to learn more about viticulture, winemaking and wine business and develop their practical skills. Professional Development : For the most experienced vineyard and winery managers and owners wanting to maintain and grow their expertise.
