This course will build on prior study and experience with pruning grapevines by discussing the concepts of pruning, vine capacity and the ideal vine. The ‘Advanced Pruning course 1’ must be undertaken prior to completing this course.
Timing: Three online lessons of approximately 20 minutes. Lessons are mainly audio with supporting documentation. A practical exercise using grapevines (vines need not be in the dormant season) is also included, to undertake in the students own time.
Experience level required: Intermediate – vineyard experience including vine pruning required.
